(Short Film / Drama / 2024)

Below is the complete original version of the score as intented based on the locked version of the short I received initially. Then when the film was edited further down, about 3-4 minutes were removed to make the runtime  just under 10 minutes. This caused massive edits to my score resulting in the second half of the first cue pretty much being removed entirely.

The version of my score in the film is a truncated version of my longer version.  The manner in which my music was edited was rather clunky, so I went back and reworked my score to fit the edit they were seeking with the music. What resulted was a newer version, same ideas present, just less bad cross fades and harsh starts and stops. My re-edit sounds more intentional musically.  Even the end cue I removed the bright and overly sacrine melody in favor of the director's desire to have more sustains and soft piano pings.
